The Company

An established retail outlet in the centre of Bramhall village with a growing reputation for providing quality products and advice for health and wellbeing. The business stocks over 3,000 different products and operates over 10 therapists from their own clinic treatment rooms. We pride ourselves on our holistic approach to running the business and working with our customers. The company is planning exiting new developments, offering excellent future prospects to the successful candidate.

 

The Position

 

     

  • Providing excellent customer service, support and advice, based on sound knowledge of health products and gift items (training will be provided where required).

     

     

  • Managing all day to day activities, including opening and closing the shop, merchandising, checking deliveries, window displays and other routine activities.

     

     

  • Managing and motivating staff and therapists.

     

     

  • Managing client appointment systems.

     

     

  • Assisting in purchasing, stock control and daily banking.

     

     

  • Providing weekly reports.

     

     

  • 8.30 am to 5.30 pm (with 1 hour lunch break).

     

     

  • 5½ days/week (with 1 Saturday off in 4).

     

     

  • Additional hours as required.

     

     

  • E-commerce division is being launched in July 2010. Previous experience in this area would be valuable to support this venture.

     

 

The Person

 

     

  • Be passionate about and/or have knowledge of complementary health, to promote specific products and clinic therapists.

     

     

  • Demonstrate the ability to get people interested in complementary health.

     

     

  • Be confident, friendly and self-motivated.

     

     

  • Must have relevant retail experience.

     

     

  • Must have excellent IT and numeracy skills and experience in running an EPOS till system.

     

     

  • Must have a high level of people management skills.

     

     

  • Must have attention to detail.

     

     

  • Understands commerciality and visual merchandising.

     

     

  • Potential to grow with the business.
