Graham Worsley

A Chartered Engineer, Graham Worsley joined the family engineering business after graduating in Liverpool with an Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
In his late 20’s Graham went on to become a Director of Babcock International where he was involved in the design and development of fluidised bed hot gas generators.
During the last 15 years, in the role of Managing Director, Graham has managed the development of St Helens based GPW Recruitment into one of the North West’s leading providers of permanent and temporary recruitment services.
Graham assumed the role of chairman in 2009 and still has an active role with the finances of the business.
Mark Parish

Originally from a retail background working for Marks and Spencer in store management, Mark joined GPW recruitment in 1997 as a technical recruiter where he developed some key blue chip client accounts.
With an honours degree in business, Mark has been responsible for the corporate strategy at the company since becoming a director in 2005.
In 2009 Mark took the helm as Managing Director after a major re-structuring programme within the business.
Chris Spencer

Chris entered the industry in 1983, initially in high street agency placing permanent staff at all levels. Progressing quickly into management, Chris successfully managed branches across the North before moving into niche recruitment consultancy.
Between 1987 and 2002, Chris directed operations specialising in sales & marketing, then latterly IT & comms. Chris joined GPW Search & Selection as Divisional Manager in early 2002, to drive business growth in permanent retained and contingency business. In January 2006, Chris was appointed Divisional Director.
In 2009 as a result of a major re-structure Chris took the reigns as Director of the Technical & Design Division, the largest single division at GPW.
Bruce Colvin

A former career civil servant, Bruce Colvin has been involved in the recruitment industry for over 20 years. Bruce joined the national organisation ‘Professional and Executive Recruitment’ (PER) managing offices in Cardiff and Warrington. He then joined GPW in 1992 and took up a Director’s role in 1994.
Specialising in search consultancy he operates at the middle to senior levels of appointments with the main focus on engineering sectors.
Chris Wright

Chris joined GPW in 2003 as a Senior Recruitment Consultant in the Trades Division. With over 15 years of experience in the recruitment industry his skills coupled with his determination and enthusiasm have been one of the factors in the growth and direction that GPW Trades has taken over the last 6 years.
Chris comes from a Mechanical & Electrical recruitment background, his Marketing and Sales abilities have guided his Division to become what we consider the most successful Trades Recruitment Division in the Region.
His personal drive has elevated Chris from a Senior Recruitment Consultant to a Divisional Manager and later promotion to Divisional Director. Chris’ short term goal is to grow the division greatly in excess of overall company forecasts within the next few years.
In 2009 Chris took over the responsibility as Director of the Office Personnel Division after winning a major account with a blue chip organisation which fed into both the trades and commercial / office divisions.
